Merry Christmas!

We are nearly into the festive season as the end of the year approaches. Looking back, you might ask ‘what can a Christian Workplace Group achieve at the workplace?’ Two weeks ago we looked at what the group at Superdry had experienced after they decided to run the Christmas Shoebox appeal.

This week we feature the group at Sefton Council in Bootle. This group have made amazing strides over the last few years, and seen the advantages of formal recognition as a staff network group. They have held an Alpha course, run a carol service and are looking at other ways they can join in with what’s going on at the council. Read more of their story which came out during Ros’ recent visit.

We’d also like to inspire you with the thoughts of Tim Davis, who works at accountants Ernst & Young in central London. Tim talks personally of the value to him of the CWG there, the support from others and the value of their regular prayer times.

Has your group held a Christmas event of any kind this year? Be sure to email us here and let us know what you did, how it went, and give any pointers for others trying to arrange something similar. We would love to celebrate what CWGs have done this Christmas and make sure good ideas are passed on!

This being the last TWUK eNews for the year, we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and pray that for everyone who receives this email, 2018 will be full of the blessings and the promises of God coming true in your lives. Please do remember that TWUK does urgently need funding to continue its work of Donate Heresupporting Christians at the workplace. If you could make a donation, or could start up a monthly donation from the beginning of 2018, we would so value that as we look to increase our staff team from 19 to 30 days a month. Thankyou.
Keeping you up to date
