He Died ... and Rose Again!

As Easter approaches, we remember that Jesus died ... and rose again! Churches will focus on the meaning of Easter in the coming days, but as far as our lives as Christians in the workplace are concerned, it's good to remind ourselves that Jesus rose to set us free, and to bring new life. He later empowered His disciples to be witnesses, and that power is available to us, through the Holy Spirit today. Easter brought transformation. We can be part of a transformation in our workplaces. Let's give thanks to God for all His resurrection is doing to bring in workplaces in the coming months.
Christian Workplace Groups Really Do Make a Difference - CIRBS
Lee CIRBS Lee from Christians in the Royal Bank of Scotland shares his testimony with Ros. CiRBS is a network of groups that span the UK. Lee came to faith in Jesus through a Christianity Explored course held in his lunch break. He loves the support his CWG provides to him and others. CiRBS are looking forward to their Easter event - a guest speaker talking on 'Resurrection - Fact or Fiction'. Read more here.
Bromley Council Christian Workplace Group are Flourishing!
Praying hands TWUK Lead Ambassador Femi Idowu recently visited Bromley Council CWG and found them to be flourishing! The group places great emphasis on study and prayer. Their Easter event will involve having a stand in front of the civic centre and offering people an Easter treat. A great example of how prayer and bible study can be a springboard for looking outwards within the organisation. Read more here.
Christian Workplace Groups: Following in Jesus' Footsteps - Setting Vision and Objectives
spectacles-1582388640 Continuing our series on starting and developing an effective CWG, Adrian looks at setting vision, objectives, principles and values. To be effective, it's so important to set a healthy vision. Jesus is a role model in this; His values were always clear. He communicated them effectively to his disciples. We need to agree on where our CWG is going, in order to move forward in unity. Maintaining an outward focus is also key. Read more here.
