----------  Successful Milestone Event ---------- We have been so privileged to be part of the birthing of Transform Work UK, coming together out of Getting God 2 Work and Christian Workplace Forum merging in 2007.  The Celebration & Dedication of the new ministry was held at the Institute of Directors, in London on Tuesday 5 February 2008. Our principal guest at 12:30 was Caroline Spelman (see right). She is MP for Meriden and Chairman of the Conservative Party. In encouraging workplace fellowship groups she urges: "Be bold in your fellowship - form one where you are."    “The workplace, after all, is the main mission field in contemporary life - it’s where so many key decisions that affect our lives are made” says our afternoon guest, Mark Greene, Executive Director for The London Institute for Contemporary Christianity (see below left). We also heard first hand accounts from Dr Martin Aylett of the BT Christian Network and John Casey of Christians in the Audit Commission of the growth and influence of Christians in the workplace. Thanks to all who made this dedication indeed a very special event in the life of TWUK.
